Our commitment is reflected in concrete actions, supported by demanding standards: la Anti-Waste Law for a Circular Economy, ISO 26000 and ISO 14001 standards, as well as the charter of 15 eco-responsible commitments of the Ministry of Sports and World Wide Fund for Nature. These guidelines are not just obligations: they are the foundations of our vision, which we bring to life at every stage of the organization.
Cleaning the course, limiting waste, promoting eco-friendly actions, raising awareness among runners, volunteers and partners: everything is done to make the Vredestein 20km of Paris an exemplary event.
And because change cannot be decreed, but must be built, we measure our progress each year, readjust our actions and innovate to always go further.
It is this dynamic of continuous improvement, anchored in reality and driven by the enthusiasm of thousands of runners and committed stakeholders, which allows us to build together a fairer, cleaner, more responsible event.

A solidarity race
The Vredestein 20km of Paris, beyond the sporting feat, carries a real mission of solidarity.
In 2024, €95 was donated to local and national associations, working in the fields of health, research, solidarity and family support.
The beneficiaries include the Foundation for Medical Research, the Social Foundation for Air Works, Bleuet de France, Entraide Marine, Solidarité Défense, as well as the Association Petits Princes and Agir Ensemble Contre l'Infirmité Mtrice Cérébrale.
Through this support, the event affirms its desire to put the race at the service of causes that matter, by mobilizing runners, partners and volunteers around a common spirit of generosity and commitment.
IN SUPPORT OF AN ASSOCIATION
For each pack ordered, €12 will be donated to a solidarity association.
The association supported for this 47th edition will be Bleuet de France!
Born in the aftermath of the First World War, the Cornflower of France is celebrating its centenary this year, a century of commitment to the heroes of our nation. This flower, a symbol of hope, was born in the trenches, where, in the midst of mud and chaos, the cornflower was often the only flower growing, evoking resilience and rebirth.
For 100 years, the work of Bleuet de France has supported wounded soldiers, veterans, victims of terrorism, wards of the Nation and bereaved families. Each year, These are more than 25 beneficiaries who receive valuable help, an extra boost of soul, in the form of psychological, physical or financial support.
Thanks to the donations received, this essential mission continues, transforming the generosity of donors into concrete actions allowing these men and women to begin a path of reconstruction and regain faith in the future.
The Vredestein 20km of Paris and the Bleuet de France share a common philosophy: solidarity, resilience and self-improvement. A fact that is not surprising because, did you know? The organization behind the creation of the 20 km of Paris is none other than the Air Sports and Cultural Association (now the Paris 20 km Club and Balard Arcueil Defense Club), another player in the military world who places a sense of community and self-sacrifice at the heart of his actions.
Together, we can turn every step and every donation into an action that makes a difference.
Together, we can enable all those who gave their lives for France and all victims of terrorism to rebuild their lives and find hope again!
